Vinification:
Approx. 20 days alcoholic fermentation and maceration in steel tanks at controlled temperature. Then approx. 18 months storage in large oak barrels. Before release, the wine is stored in the bottle for at least 6 months

Color: Elegant ruby red
Bouquet:
Balances ripe red fruit perfumed with sweetness of roses, raspberries and cardamom
Taste:
Dried plum and fig with an undertone of spicy nutmeg. It has fine soft tannins and a pleasant sour finish

Piedmontese cuisine is full of specialties with tasty meat and powerful sauces, often combined with white truffle that combine well with Barbaresco such as: Risotto al tartufo bianco, Manzo stufato alla Piemontese, Agnolotti al tartufo, Fricandó alla Piemontese, Fonduta con tartufi. Taglierini con fonduta e olio di tartufo as well as many other traditional Piedmontese dishes. And of course all forms of tasty cheese.
